  1. Am I eligible for the program or not?
  2. Yes, you are eligible for the 4 years B.Sc.CSIT program if you have successfully completed a twelve year of schooling in the science stream or equivalent, with a minimum of second division in +2 or equivalent, from any university, board or institution recognized by TU. Then you should successfully pass the entrance examination conducted by TU securing at least 35% marks.

    Note: Both Biology and Mathematics group of students of +2 level are eligible to apply

  3. How can I enroll in B.Sc.CSIT program?
  4. Application form is available in affiliated colleges and constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University. One can get enrolled in B.Sc.CSIT program by filling up the application form from any colleges and later joining any colleges of their choice.

  5. What type of questions will be there in B.Sc.CSIT entrance exam? Should we prepare for it in any institutions?
  6. The entrance examination conducted by TU for filtering B.Sc.CSIT students consists of 100 full marks and 35 pass marks. All the questions will be in objective form. The subjects from whom questions will be asked are from English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of Intermediate/10+2 levels. Students will have 2 hours of time to complete the entrance examination. No, you should not prepare for entrance examinations in any institutions but yes, you should prepare hard by yourself.

  7. Is it possible to get admitted to some other college even after filling up the form from some college?
  8. Yes, it is not mandatory to get admitted in the same college at which you filled up your TU form. If you pass B.Sc.CSIT entrance examination, you are eligible to study at any of the affiliated colleges.

  17. What is the course structure of B.Sc.CSIT?
  18. B.Sc.CSIT is a 4 year-8 semester program with 126 credit hours. Computer science core course, Natural science elective courses, Mathematics courses, English courses, Social science and management courses, Computer science elective courses, and Internship/Project are combined together to meet 126 credit hours.
